Blanche Ames, Sustainability Signage

These panels for Blanche Ames Elementary School are designed to be accessible for both students and parents, and detail different ways in which the school's systems stay sustainable. Using easy to read iconography and bright colors ensures that they will be noticed, and the handwritten typography enhances the youthful and vibrant aesthetic.
Sherwood Memory Care

Schematic Design Deck/Signage System
Sherwood Memory Care is an in-patient facility in Washington. For this client, we wanted to design signage that felt cozy, homey, and recognizeable. We had the idea to install “memory boxes” outside of each patient room, where loved ones could leave notes, pictures, and other ephemera for the patient.
We chose colors like cream, lavender, and dark green to capture the palette of Washington state to integrate the patients’ sense of place. Each room sign includes a name tag, photograph, and number indicating the room.
