Background

This book came came out of a passion for the ocean, shells, glass and general beach collecting. It became a tribute to my favorite beach, close to where I grew up. I spent a lot of time by the beach in my childhood, collecting with my mom and later on, hanging out with my friends for hours on end. This book contains my film photography from the beach, specific species and some information on them, pieces I’ve collected, and stories written by me and my best friend.

I hand-crafted this book; I printed it, wrapped the covers, and bound it. It is a perfect culmination of skills I learned during undergrad and my own passions, explorations and experimentation.
