Temple of Apollo Epicurius at Bassae
Background
The Temple of Apollo Epicurius at Bassae is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Figaleia, Greece. It was designed by Ictinus, the architect of the Parthenon, in mid to late 5th century BC. It was the first Greek site to be added to the world heritage list, and remains to be one of the most well-preserved temples in Greece.
For this project, I was tasked with creating a brand identity for the site and applying the identity to many elements, like stationary, a website, an on-site informational sign, a vehicle, and more.

Brand Elements
I wanted to create an identity that calls back to the history and mythology of the Temple of Apollo, while also using modern typographic treatments and colors inspired from the landscape.
Booklet Overview
An overview of the spreads in my informational booklet about the site. This is intended to be promotional and informational material for the site. I split it into two sections: one about the Temple of Apollo and the other about the UNESCO World Heritage Site program and its history, challenges and successes.
New Yorker Ads
These ads are to be rolled out one at a time over the span of multiple months. This series uses different imagery and colors to draw visitors into the exhibition and give a hint of what you may see at the MFA in Boston.
Stationery Material
All stationery for the site, including a letterhead, an envelope, an information sheet, and a business card.

Sight Sign
This on-site signage serves as an educational installation to provide visitors with general information about the site, its history, and its standings in the architectural world. It has been typeset in seven languages; the six UNESCO languages: English, Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic, and Chinese, and Greek beacuse we are in Greece. Each panel has a cutout so visitors can see through the signage into the landscape beyond.
Screen-Based
Screen applications, including a website landing page for desktop, landing page adapted to mobile, and an app button.
