This assignment shows 3 trips of different lengths from my Boston living space; first to Ryder hall where my classes are, second to my hometown, and third to Rome, Italy, where my grandma and extended family lives. I like looking at windows and architectural features, so I centered my trips around the windows I see along the way and at my destination. This is 24"x32".
In this process project, we were asked to create a visualization of a process of a minimum of 10 steps or stages of making something, using as few words or labels as possible. I chose to make this in the form of an accordion booklet, and I hand drew all of the icons and text. Each page is 5.5"x8.5", and there are 11 pages total.
Here we were tasked to create a signage system for Northeastern's College of Arts, Media, and Design (CAMD), including a building directory of Ryder Hall, a map of campus + relevant locations for art students, an outdoor directional sign, and a room sign.
Directional Sign, 2'–6" x 3'–0 1/2"
Campus Map, 3'–8 1/4" x 3'–0 1/2"
Directional Sign, 2'–9" x 1'–9"
In this project, we were assigned a country and given data from its page in the Economist, and using that data and some additional research, we had to create 32 information graphics & maps and compose them onto a poster in a visually cohesive manner. Mine turned out to be 24"x41".
